Plant 1 - Engineers Report

Gas Plant Capacity - 18GJ/Hour

The plant was purchased second-hand from Vaal Potteries, Meyerton, South Africa and has been substantially reconditioned. It is in excellent state of repair and has been maintained to a level from which it could readily be commissioned for gas making.As standing, the plant will supply hot raw gas to adjacent gas-using equipment. The incorporation of a de-tarrer to provide hot de-tarred gas would be neither expensive nor difficult, neither would a cooling system if cold, clean gas were required.

The plant was purchased second-hand from Vaal Potteries and has been reconditioned into a very good state of repair, from which it could quickly be brought into a gas making condition. Being a single stage unit, the plant has a single gas offtake at the top of the producer.
